Airtel Africa PLC reported Thursday that Chimera Investment decision LLC has invested $50 million in its mobile funds small business Airtel Cell Commerce BV.
The telecommunications and mobile revenue services supplier stated the proceeds from the deal will be employed to cut down personal debt and spend in network and gross sales infrastructure.
Shares in Airtel Africa at 0920 GMT had been up 2.5 pence, or 2{067fe502a31e650c5185733df64156900ec267ebfd90cbebf0b3fe89b5b413d8}, at 129.5 pence.
